Remembering YOU

Remembering YOU

I’m hopeless, I don’t even know what to do
I’m tired of staying away from you
I know I’ll always be blue
‘Coz there is no way that I can reach you

It hurts  to remember the days when we were together
We’ll never be the same ever
Your memory will stay with me forever
No, I’ll not forget you-never

We were in the same place, but you’re miles away
I can’t bring you back whatever I say
I’m wondering if this really the end
For now you don’t even treat me as a friend

That last call of yours I’ll never forget
Those words that proclaim your regret
Your voice lacking the usual love that day
I never thought that you’d walk away

All I have today is our memories so sweet
I cannot do anything but to accept defeat
You are the love I lost
The love I love the most

It’s Never Too Late

It’s Never Too Late

If the world’s going to be destroyed, will you just sit there, wait and watch? Aren’t you going to do anything, other than breathing- which technically adds carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and makes the earth hotter? If they, or we, are so sure that the world is going to end are we going to give up without even fighting and struggling- making a change?

The earth is now experiencing, suffering, the consequences of human actions. Because of our endless use of plastics and commercial product which have chlorofluorocarbons. We can’t even control our own population which can cause more pollution.

No one can deny that earth’s present condition is the result of our reckless actions. Now, we can’t undo the past so let us do ‘something’ at present which could make the future world better.

We need to plant more trees to convert the ever increasing amount of carbon dioxide in our atmosphere. Trees could also prevent floods and landslides. And of course, we also need to stop cutting trees that are still young and useful. We need trees if we want to survive earth’s catastrophes.

Second, we need to segregate our wastes and recycle anything and everything that could be recycled. We should stop throwing garbage in bodies of water if we still want to drink clean water.

Last in this list but not in the things you can do, we should minimize plastic consumption and smoke belching. This may be a small thing for you but this is a big thing for our world.

Act now and change for the better. Some would say that we couldn’t do anything anymore to stop earth’s destruction but we could, we should and we would. The earth’s future is in our hands, save it while we still can. Don’t lose hope because it’s always never too late.

Romeo and Juliet & the Nurse

Romeo and Juliet     & the Nurse

Romeo and Paris started to fight in front of Juliet’s tomb. Just then, he nurse appeared and was surprised to see the two men with bloody swords.  She cried while attempting to cease the fight. But Romeo and Paris were already fueled by their rage and were unstoppable. The Nurse realized that her efforts were futile and just kept on ranting about how Juliet wouldn’t like Romeo and Paris to kill each other over her dead body. She blabbed about nonsense stories about Juliet’s childhood. Just then, Juliet emerged from her grave and was surprised to see Romeo and Paris- who immediately stopped fighting- and the nurse who was still crying, laughing and rambling, oblivious to the fact that Juliet has awoke from her grave.

The two gentlemen were surprised to see their beloved Juliet rise from her tomb. But as she raised her hand and stared intently at Romeo, he went to her and kissed her. Paris just stood there-dumbfounded.

Friar Lawrence arrived at that very moment and led them all to town- including the Nurse who shrieked when she saw Juliet talking to Romeo. The friar helped Romeo and Juliet in explaining to Prince Escalus, the Montagues and the Capulets-with the Nurse interrupting at his every word. The Capulets tried to silence her but just as always she never does. She only shut her mouth when Prince Escalus threatened to put her to death-but still kept muttering to herself how rash the law is. The two families understood the hardships face by their children because of their nonsense feud and had accepted each other’s apologies and promised to be good friends-not only for their married children but also for the peace of Verona.

Romeo & Juliet: Happy Ending?

Romeo & Juliet: Happy Ending?

Have you ever heard of Romeo and Juliet, one of Shakespeare’s classic plays? Did you like the ending? No? Of course! It’s a tragedy. We don’t want our protagonists to die, right? Well, here's an alternative ending for one of the most famous love stories of all time.

As Paris puts flowers to Juliet’s grave he heard a whistle- a servants warning that someone is approaching. He hid himself under the darkness of the night. Then he saw Romeo and his servant, Balthasar. Romeo told Balthazar that he had come to Juliet’s grave to get a valuable ring he had given her and told him to deliver the message he wrote to his father. But Balthazar didn’t obey him and stayed in the churchyard.

Meanwhile, Paris didn’t recognize Romeo. He wondered what this man was doing in front of Juliet’s tomb in the middle of the night. As he didn’t know what to do, Paris continued watching Romeo.

Romeo stared at Juliet’s tomb while whispering agonies on how could Juliet leave him alone in this miserable world. Then he pulled the poison from his pocket and was about to drink it when Paris revealed himself. He asks Romeo his intentions and Romeo told him that his beloved Juliet left him so he must as well die beside her. Even though Paris was wondering who this man is and why he called Juliet- his fiancée- “beloved”, he pursued Romeo that Juliet wouldn’t be happy if he will waste his life on her. Romeo didn’t listen to him and was about to drink the poison again when Friar Lawrence appeared and stopped him. He explained to Romeo and Paris that Juliet is not really dead and will wake up in just a few minutes. Romeo didn’t believe him and thought that his friend friar was just trying to stop him from committing suicide. But Paris told him that if he doesn’t want to wait for Juliet then Paris will, so as to prove his love for her.

Just then, Juliet lifts into consciousness and saw the three men. She ran towards Romeo and kissed him. Paris got surprised because Juliet was his fiancée. Friar Lawrence, Romeo and Juliet explained to him how they got married and how they loved each other. Even though Paris discovered that Romeo was a Montague, he let Juliet go – so that she can be happy with the man she really loves. He also promised to help them explain to Prince Escalus, the Capulets and the Montagues.
Paris fulfilled his promise and the two feuding families saw the consequences of their senseless rivalry. They allowed Romeo and Juliet to be remarried- grand this time- and they lived happily ever after.

Happy ending? No. Because true love never ends. . .
